It seems that everyone and their mother is looking for a quick fix when it comes to weight loss. Every magazine, TV ad, Gym billboard beckons with, “Lose 10 lbs. by Friday!” or “Trim Your Tummy with this ONE move!”, but is that really what we want? What if we lose that 10 lbs. or trim our tummies? Will we be satisfied? Probably not because then we’ll be focused on the next body part to fix.
Learn to love yourself now. That’s the secret.
But I do have a few other healthy secrets (which really aren’t secrets!) that help me slim down in short amount of time.
1. Drink LOTS of water
2. Cut back on alcohol
3. RARELY eat processed foods (or try to cut them out altogether)
4. Do some cardio (but don’t make it your main workout everyday)
5. Lift weights at the gym
6. Do not eat sugar (that means no to honey, maple syrup, agave, etc.)
7. Eat lots of greens
8. Cut back on high fat meat (i.e. pork, beef, etc.)
You do not have to do all these at once, try one at a time and gradually work into it. And remember to start with loving yourself for who you are before you begin. <3 span="">3>
